Hotel Barcelona Princess

This hotel although located a bit outside the main city center will not leave you disappointed! The lobby is huge and continuing the exterior colour scheme of orange and blue the lounge is filled with designer furniture. There are 364 rooms in total , all of them elegant with fittings of the highest quality. All of the rooms have free internet, a free mini-bar, safe, satellite TV, king size beds, and due to the tremendous height of the hotel most have panoramic views over the city or out to the sea.
The hotel has an unheard of 2 swimming pools for a start. One on the 23rd floor allowing a sweeping view of the entire city and one on the 3rd floor attached to the fitness centre. Staying at the hotel of course gives you free access to the Spazone Spa and fitness centre which includes a gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, heated outdoor pool, massage parlour and the "gym bar" terrace.hotel-barcelona-princess.jpg

There are also 3 bars for you to choose from, though I recommend the Princess Crown Bar which is on the 23rd floor and is otherwise known as the viewing bar, and for good reason, the views are spectacular, especially at night. Furthermore, there are also 2 restaurants at this hotel.

How to get to the hotel from the airport?
A taxi from the airport should take about 25 minutes and cost around €30.00 depending on traffic and luggage.

The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia station in about 25 minutes and costs  €4.10  for a single ticket. You then have to change here for the Yellow Line metroMetro to Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.

The Aerobus costs  €5.90  and will also take you to Plaça Catalunya in just over 30 minutes. You then have to catch the metro at Catalunya for the green line metro to Passeig de Gràcia and then change here for the yellow Line metroMetro to Maresme Forum and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the metro.
